Went to the concert last night at Navy Pier and it was great. We were right in front by the stage. American English, New Colony Six and Ides of March were all great. Got to hear Treat Her Groovy live! Holly had a collectors music catalog with Dick Biondi signature, so she won a door prize and got to meet him. And I got to meet and shake hands with Ronny Rice and talk to Jim Petarik (I asked him what kind of vitamins he takes.) He was nice enough to signed Holly's 104 t-shirt that she won and wrote a nice message too. BUT the BIG Thrill was shaking hands with the DanZman! Your photo gallery of him is cool, but to see the guy do his thing all night (he was right in front of us) gives me a different appreciation. Boy is that guy a trip! Hope to catch the act on March 2nd. John |

I know you're not a blatant self-promoter, but if they do a special on guys like us and you're not at least pictured once, it'll be a sham. Maybe you can get the most loyal of your fellow Chi-town '60s bands' admirers and cheer us on to a primo performance at Hillside. | Subject: Great Joy!! Date: Sat, 11 Aug 2001 07:24:37 -0500 THANK YOU FOR YOUR JOY!! My friends and husband went to see American English last night at Romeofest and Enjoyed the evening SOOOOO MUCH!! You uplift our spirits and bring Joy to our hearts watching you be as Free as Lark!! We came with friends that had a few ups and downs lately and when the wife and I went up to the front of the stage and spoke to you and introduced ourselves, we stayed "Danzin' " by you and we had a GREAT time and soon our Spirits were lifted!! We Danzed the rest of the night and gigled and laughed all night!! WE NEEDED THAT!!! We met you at Navy Pier during The Buckinhams concert, which American English opened the show that night!! We were hooked on You and American English from that night!! Is there any way of us knowing where you are going to be at - Do you mind"groupies" or "followers" ??? You let us be ourselves and that is a Gift!! I love to see your SMILIN' Face on your website pictures and at the Festivals and Concerts!! Keep up the Danzin' - I just heard of a book the other day on Oprah titled "I want to Dance" I beleive whoever wrote the song also just won a Grammy for writing the song by the same Name!! They ought to have you write a book, about all the Joy you spread in the Chicagoland area! I bet the 50's & 60's revival to the music has a great deal to do with your STRONG EFFORT to promoting just "good ole fun" at the concerts and festivals!! (Also, Your STRONG CALVES - we noticed!!!) Keep up Spreading the "good news" I am sure the Bands have got to appreciate all your enthusiasm - We sure do!! Love Ya!! God Bless You Real Goood! |

It was good to see you. I always know that summer is here when you're down front (Stage Left) of the show. By the way, is there any reason why you always choose that side of the stage? Just a little triva question to enlighten your fans. Be Well & Fins Up! Bruce (the Party Shark) Waters Pirates Over 40 |
|
| My Reply: Thanks for the great email. If it's alright with you I'm adding this email to my DanZman's story page to share it with our fans. To answer your begging question. The side of the stage I select depends on a several things. Such as, the Stage/PA setup, The Entertainer/s I'm interested in, and the available area that maybe open for DanZing. If I can get there early, and all things being equal, I setup more to inside center of either PA speaker set. It was really great to be DanZing with Pirates Over 40! See you soon! |

| 07/10/2001 | A reply to a band promoter asking to have a spot on My Web Site for their Band. THE DANZMAN |
| As for a band's spot on my web site, they have to really impress me with a really tight 50's-80's rock show/party.
There's no promos or any other presentation that will get to me. My web site not only promos Bands and Fests, but
"the true party happening". On My web site, If a Band's name is in "Bold,
Blue Type", You can bet it's a "True Blue Party Band"
that knows how to "Rock My Butt Off" and "Rock My World". "No ifs, ands,
or Butts about it". When one of your bands makes a Fest that's on my web site, I'll try and catch their show/party, And If And Only If, I'm dually Impressed with their rock show/party, will they earn their spot on My Web Site. Thank you for interest in My Web Site, and all the work you are doing for your bands, but this time, the bands will have to do the "Real Work" themselves. As you can see, My Web Site and My Self are a Living testimonial to the "Live" outdoor summer 60's Rock Scene in the Chicago Land. |

| 03/09/2001 | A thought to a Friend. THE DANZMAN |
| Here's something to think about, if I would have let what people said or say about me, affect me, I would never have gotten up front and DanZed for and with the Bands. Now I am The DanZman. Please never let the negative people in this world affect your life and what you do in it or you'll never find your place in it. Narrow-minded people live narrow lives. Don't let them, let you, get yourself down, for they can only affect you, if you let them. We all know, bitter people only spread bitterness, therefore I refuse to let myself get tingled in the bitterness of life, for fear of losing the pure joy of living. | |

I just got home from the Lyons Fest, I spent the whole day 'Danzing' with Sister Envy, Selective Recall, Sandra
Lee, and Bad Company. I hadn't seen either Sandra Lee or Bad Company before, but Sandra Lee had heard of me and
came up to the fence while I was 'Danzing' with Selective Recall and thanked me for being there for the shows and
give me a big hug. While I was 'Danzing' with Sandra Lee, I saw someone was talking to the Entertainment One personnel
about me. The someone turnout to be the Lead Singer of Bad Company. Terry of Entertainment One came over later
and said that Bad Company would like me to 'Danz' on stage with them for the last song. What an awesome day. It
was fantastic. As the "Xgens" say Bad Company Rules. I'll sure sleep well tonight. I'll see you all soon.
I'll be at Lyons Fest tomorrow.
Thank You!
