Concerts are held in Town Square in the seating area near the park pond. Families and friends are welcome to attend. Please consider bringing your lawn chairs and come early. Priority seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Snacks can be purchased from various locations in the square. August, Last year, Well over 1,500 people attended this event.
The Village of Schaumburg is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its incorporation, which will include the outdoor Big Band Music Series in Town Square sponsored by the Schaumburg Township District Library. The Library held 13 free concerts in Town Square last year and they were all well attended. We plan to repeat the event with another 13 free concerts.

The Village of Schaumburg is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its incorporation, which will include the outdoor Big Band Music Series in Town Square sponsored by the Schaumburg Township District Library. The Library held 13 free concerts in Town Square last year and they were all well attended. We plan to repeat the event with another 13 free concerts.

07/31/2006 - Every year I have asked the Streamwood Fest People to carry a Lemon-Lime Soda. You are required to buy tickets, so the Fest controls who sells of all the Sodas. In this case it would have to be "Sierra Mist" Soda, since they serve only Pepsi Products. All they want serve is Pepsi's and Mountain Dew. Their reasoning is that "Sierra Mist" won't sell. "Just drink Dew". I hope you are aware that "Dew" is loaded with caffine even more than Pepsi and is orange juice based. These are items that really give me digestive problems. So to get the Streamwood Fest People to see the errors of thier ways and to prove that my web site can prove useful to them, I told them I was going "air the problem on my web site."So I'm asking the following question. The Village of Schaumburg is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its incorporation, which will include the outdoor Big Band Music Series in Town Square sponsored by the Schaumburg Township District Library. The Library held 13 free concerts in Town Square last year and they were all well attended. We plan to repeat the event with another 13 free concerts.

The Village of Schaumburg is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its incorporation, which will include the outdoor Big Band Music Series in Town Square sponsored by the Schaumburg Township District Library. The Library held 13 free concerts in Town Square last year and they were all well attended. We plan to repeat the event with another 13 free concerts.
