you one and all to our 6th annual community festival. This year we have made some changes to the fest, which we
hope add to your enjoyment.
We would also like you to know that not only has the fest changed but also Jefferson Park as well. Construction
has been done on new CVS Pharmacy at the corner of Lawrence and Milwaukee Avenue. We are also embarking on an unprecedented
undertaking of placing a life-size statue of Thomas Jefferson, our namesake, in the soon to be revitalized Jefferson
Park Transit Terminal. Renowned artist, Edward E. Hlavaka, is sculpting this magnificent piece of art to be placed
at the center of the Jefferson Park Transportation hub. Plans are also in the works for a condominium mixed use
development on Lawrence Avenue across from the Copernicus Foundation. We are also working on more projects with
our Beautification Committee.
Please enjoy all the music food and fun! Remember your participation in our fest helps our community in many ways.
We are trying to construct “Jefferson Park into all it can be”
Thanks for joining us!

Q. I'm planning on bringing my young child to the concert with me. Do I need to have a ticket for him/her?
A. Because of restrictions with square footage per person according to the fire and safety code every person, no
matter what the age, will need a ticket to enter the concert area.
Q. What can I bring into the festival grounds?
A. You can only bring what you have on your back. If you are carrying a backpack, purse, fannypack or anything
that you can conceal something in you will be asked to empty it so we may search it. This line may be long and
prevent you from entering the festival/concert area. Your best bet is to leave it at home! If you bring a blanket
or towel they will be shook out. You may not bring in any outside food or drink (including water & juice).
We appreciate your cooperation. |
