DanZman: Don't know yet when it'll air - could be during Fall Pledge Drive.
I'll let you know when somebody fills me in.
Ronnie Rice: www.ronnierice.com
will be there (probably do a tune or two with us), plus Bob Sirott - though I doubt
we'll be able to get him on stage. See you soon...

Subject: New Colony Six gig this Sunday in Hillside
Date: Tue, 21 Aug 2001 20:30:05 -0500

Not sure if you were aware of this - just found out myself - but
Bob Sirott is preparing a special
for Channel 11 on the Chicago bands of the '60s and they'll be taping parts of our performance
next Sunday
. I know you're not a blatant self-promoter, but if they do a special on guys like us
and you're not at least pictured once, it'll be a sham. Maybe you can get the most loyal of your
fellow Chi-town '60s bands' admirers and cheer us on to a primo performance at Hillside.
Failing that, do be sure to get word of the other venues - you just have to be a part of any
such program. By the way,
Bob Sirott is going to interview me and Ronnie Rice:
www.ronnierice.com, and maybe Bruce Mattey and Rick Barr,
(members of The New Colony Six: www.newcolonysix.com,)
plus the '60s
Jimmys, Sohns (Jimy Sohns &The Shadows of Knight
www.bassicleemusic.com/shadows/news.html,)
and
Peterik (www.theidesofmarch.com, www.jimpeterik.com), plus the Bucks
(The Buckinghams: www.thebuckinghams.com,) and Shames
(The Cryan' Shames: www.geocities.com/~cshame,)
too I think. Just thought you'd like to know.
All the best and keep on keepin' on, brother!
