Church on all three nights from 7:00 pm to 10:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday Taste of Homewood (11 am - 11 pm), NASCAR Racing in Homewood - $3.00/race, For the NASCAR lovers there will be a 25’ x 35’ radio controlled NASCAR track located on Dixie Highway. The DeRe Tire and Auto 100 will feature other cars sponsored by Aurelio’s and Kluger Furs, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Home Depot, Summitt Labs and Florence Draperies. The track will be running races from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m. each night. |

Meijer, the Michigan-based super center building an outstanding location at Randall Road and Route 38 in St. Charles,
is sponsoring the FOX ROX Office Party this year, including the appearance of Chicago radio legend Steve Dahl and
the Dahlfins. Entertainment for the evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with karaoke and music. Steve Dahl and Dahlfins
will perform from 9 to 10:30 p.m. at the VFW Hall in St. Charles. Meijer will present the “Signature Hospitality
Center” at the VFW, where they will greet guests and offer information about the super store from 5:30 to 10:30
p.m. Other sponsors this year include Midwest Groundcovers, which will provide flower potting activities for children; Critter’s Pet Shop, bringing FOX ROX its first Pet Show; Bull ‘n Bear, hosting a motorcycle show in the parking lot of Fox Island Square from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 5-6; Dr. Pepper-7-Up, a general sponsor of the festival and bringing live entertainment to the stage Aug. 5-6. |

Also, this party will be held in conjunction with the "Pony Auction" where some of the featured ponies will be auctioned for charity. The Party will be held from 6pm till 10pm on Friday, Aug. 18th in the parking lot along Davis street between Dunton and Vail. Pony rides will be provided by "Patch 22 LTD." for the kids! Arlington International Race Course will sponsor "SINE - The Band"(Alt/Pop) and will perform from 6pm till 8pm. The "Pony Auction" will begin at 8pm! Food will be provided by "Chin's Restuarant" and "Home Run Inn Pizza".
