Benefit for Stephanie Burde!
John's Pizzeria Banquet Hall! 100 E. Lake St (just W of Rt 83 on Lake), Addison, includes Beer and Wine,
food & Three bands. The Del Souls, The Runaways and Tangent will be hosting a benefit cocktail party for my
niece, Stephanie Burde. She was born with a rare disease named Neuropathy. This disease has confined She to a wheel
chair from birth. During the past month my niece She contracted a blood infection causing high fever and seizures. She has been in a medically induced coma and is on a dialysis machine along with a ventilator and multiple IV's in her at Children's Memorial Hospital. Her mom and dad have been at her side every step of the way. Please accept my most sincere thanks and appreciation for all of the support each of you have given The Del Souls and The Runaways. I ask that you please find it in your heart to support this upcoming benefit for my niece She on October 17th. You will be able to purchase tickets at the door at the benefit for the reasonable cost of $35.00 which will include Beer and Wine, food and the live entertainment of The Del Souls, The Runaways and Tangent all of which are donating their time and talent to this fundraising event. All proceeds will be donated to the Stephanie Burde Benefit Fund and given to Stephanie and her family. D.K.'s style is kind of hard to pigeonhole as it is a blend of Country, Rock, Jazz, with a dash of Elvis and the Beach Boys thrown in for good measure :) LOL Some of you might already be familiar with him and his music. His video "I Fought The Law ( and the law won)" garnered 1st place in the Music Video Awards held in Chicago. It continued to enjoy an extremely long run of airplay on TNN's Video Country as well as numerous international broadcast stations. He has worked with Jim in the past and even has included a version of The Search Is Over on his new CD. His title cut of the Elvis hit song "Return To Sender" is currently number 3 on the Rhythm & Beach chart as well as number 9 on the Music Weekly Countdown.
